HKids Ministry
H-KIDS is our ministry to children birth through 5th grade. Our mission is to partner with parents in their efforts to nurture the faith of their children toward knowing and loving Jesus Christ. The Bible is brought to life as kids have fun learning about a great big God who cares passionately about them.
TODDLERS
The “terrific” twos is such an exciting age of wonder and curiosity. At House On The Word (HOTW), our teachers minister to these little ones using many fun resources including storybooks, puppets, fun songs, activities and skits.
PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN
“I’m a Big Kid Now!” We love our preschoolers and kindergartners because this is the age of early character formation and HOTW recognizes this important phase of your child’s life. Each week, your child enjoys bible stories, songs, games, and fun lesson-related activities that bring the Bible to life.
ELEMENTARY & PRETEEN
Our boys and girls in grades 1- 5 are all the rage about Jesus! Our caring teachers and volunteers use age-appropriate worship and bible lessons to teach children how to have a personal relationship with Christ. Creative resources like life application stories, hands-on activity centers, memory and action-oriented projects, are utilized so kids can apply and practice Bible truths and learn to know, love and follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
NURSERY
At House On The Word (HOTW), we strongly believe our spiritual journey starts from birth and the message of God’s love can be delivered even to the smallest hearts. Our nursery is a safe and secure environment where infants are lovingly cared for by volunteers.

Jesus loves All children and because each child is a unique gift from God, your child’s individuality is treasured in our Special Needs Ministry. Our goal is to develop a unique relationship with each child and communicate the love of Christ through acceptance and friendship. Register Your Kids
The HKids ministry believes that the effort to help our children learn more about their Faith should be a partnership between parents and teachers. This is why parents will be required to volunteer to teach a class at least once in 2 months.
